Was there a 93 (A3) GTI with a 16V engine?

There was a mk3 GTI with a 16v, engine code ABF. We didn't get it here in the states though.

IIRC the ABF and therefore MKIII GTI 16V came out in 94.

Golf 3 GTI 16V model was available from 1993 to 1997 in Europe.
It came with 150hp at 6000rpm and 133lbft at 4800rpm.

6900rpm
I did 245km/h at 6900 rpm this week-end with my Golf 3 GTI 16V

VW quit making the GTI in 92 if you ask me, see the member name to the left
