Turned out great, well worth my time. I may buy another set of lights and do a body color match, but this will keep me much happier than the standard 'plain' stock lights for now. Looks meaner I think

How does it look with the sick tail lights? A color math if you had BMP would be cool, not quite sure about the Deep Blue Pearl. Can't wait to do the Joey mod. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

Re: Did the Joey mod today :) (abadgti)

Pics dont do the lights justice really. Came out very clean, due to taking my time masking the lights really well.
It's quite the project if you've never taken off the front bumper of the R before, but its actually not too bad. My pics show sort of where to look for a few of the bolts. Heat the lights in the oven for 5 mins at 200 degrees then they should come apart easier. Take your time masking off the lights, and use some fine paint masking tape, as to avoid peeling off the chrome afterwards. In the end, taking my time, it took me around 5 hours to complete all the painting and reassembly.

Re: (Chuck in MA)

Very nice.......and a much needed mod. Don't understand why they did not use the light assembly that was used on the 20th. the chrome headlight package and ride height are the two things that bother me about the R32. You may be able to start a cottage industry. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

That looks great. I am going to go that route as well but I am thinking about painting them DeepBlue. I am going to try and photoshop that look before I actually do it. Awesome job on the masking. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif
