Hi, was just messing about with ETKA trying to figure the easiest way to do a "cat bypass" or "test pipe" on my 8v and I hit upon part number 176 253 091 B, which seems to be a straight pipe exhaust section running from the exhaust manifold to where the cat and centre exhaust section would normally meet. From what I could tell this would be a straight swap for 8v downpipe and cat.
If I bought this section new it would remove the cat section, be cheaper than a high-flow cat, and provide no turbulence at all unlike a gutted cat. Sounds mighty tempting.
So, is this feasible - please post up if you know any more. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif
