Differances between GLI/GLS?

Thinking of buying a MKIV GLI. Currently have '03 GLS 1.8T. Besides the body work and the 6 speed. what are the differences between these cars? Worth it if I plan on modding GLS?

Please read the FAQ. All the differences are noted in there. It's up to you to decide whether or not the GLI is right for you. If you quickly glance through this forum you will see that many people mod their 3/2/G to the same extent or more as non 3/2/G owners.

Brakes, 6 speed, body, suspension, aluminum trim, exhaust, euro cluster, different shift knob and boot, recaro seats
