A friend of mine is going to install vr6-motor to a -69 type1 beetle, he has a 2.9l engine and the wiring harnesses and the sensors/stuff are from 2.8l. Now is which ecu box should be used?
Are the boxes different?
Are the trigger plates on the crankshaft similar in the 2.8 and 2.9?
