This could probably be figured out in the mkIII forum as it pertains to the mkIII's, but you guys seem to have more technical knowledge about this stuff. Aside from the fact that obd-I cars have a forged crank, oil squirters, and a few less sensors, is there a hardware difference (i.e. engine parts compatidibility)? Can you take an obd-I block, head, and bottom end parts, and swap them out with and obd-II car?
