hello,
are there any other valve cover that would fit a stock 16v head? i know öttingers and drahke's won't fit, anything else?

You can modify your stock one.

early 90's audi A8 I believe left side cover will work as that motor uses 16v based heads. or just modify the stock one. grinding off the ridges and givin it a nice polishing looks hot http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

Does anyone make a really lightweight one? I did find someone doing carbon fibre ones in Germany but when I emailed him they turned out to be standard ones covered in CF and so were 300 or 400 grams heavier than std.

drilling holes in it will lighten it up

Right hand side Audi V8 3.6 and 3.7 and Audi 100 s4 4.2 valve cover can be used.
Not sure if these models are sold in the US though

eeeeh,just found out that the thread starter comes from Germany
Should be plenty of those valve covers there.

sadly its even really dificult to find them in germany

but, i'll take a closer look at ebay in the next weeks.
