Re: dim headlights (catfishez)

Yeah, my lights were dim and having a stereo system in it did not help, it would dim them further down on bass notes. I fixed my issues with dim lights and battery draining problems, by simply replacing the cable/wire going to the starter, from the alt. to the the battery, and new grounding wire running side by side with the OEM ground wire. I also ran a grounding wire to the ECU, thjat seemed to help with eratic issues I was having with idleing.
Just a couple of suggestions. I used 4AWG wire when I did the re-wire, but now I am going to go back and use 2AWG wire, same as SaabFan.

Re: dim headlights (TexasCorradoG60)

If all else fails you can also wire in relays on the headlight circuit, like on the euro light harnesses.
