Another instalment in my quest for car audio perfection!
I've got most of the stuff that I need now, but I think that to install it I'm going to have start removing some of the dash. I've looked at the central section (surround pops off leaving Torx screws) but I think that could be tricky as all the equipment (Climatronic etc) is fixed to it.
A good alternative would be to remove the glovebox which would give me access to the side of the central column. There are some fairly obvious Torx screws along the top and bottom, only I'm a little bit concerned about the airbag.
If I undo these screws to release the glovebox and take it out, is there any chance of the passenger airbag going off?
