That's what I used... lasted about a week.

I resprayed them and then put yellow Xpel (laminex but cheaper) over the paint. It's holding up 100% but I think I'm going to go back to clear.

Something on the front of your car needs to be pretty durable to stand up to rocks, and other elements. I wouldn't recommend using any sort of spraypaint on your fogs.

Wouldn't Color chrome be the same thing(translucent Paint)?

Either way I'm just giving people another option.
I guess the true test will be to see how it holds up after a couple hundred miles are put on the car. Coincidently I will be driving up to Vegas this week to chill with some peeps. So we will see how it goes.

If paint is too radical, you may also use film (which also protects the lens from rock chips!).
