I wanted to do this upgrade for some time and finally got around to it on my 2006 Jetta TDI. I also did a DIY for others who may be interested in doing this as well. Very pleased with the results and can't wait for my front upgrade to Audi R8 rear calipers very soon.

dunno if the rear is different than the gti
but i was able to get the heatshields to fit, only 2 of the 3 holes line up

I know that. Lighter wheels may be another option for those that are looking to save every pound. Just wanted people to be aware that they are a bit heavier overall.

The rear brakes of Audi S3 8P (TFSI) are black, doesn't need to be painted
