Well i thought it is time to give back to the community soo.
I have searched and only found ways of modding the car to accept the seats but i thought to myself how about if i ever want to go back to mk3 seats again? well i didn't want the added work so here is my DIY.
Thank you to my buddy glxguy for the idea.
Tools you will need
Sawsall with small metal blade
welder
T25 torx screwdriver
picks
hammer
visegrips
common sence
1)get a mk3 and mk4 seat side by side
MK3

mk4

2)trim this wheel on the door side only until it's about 8mm thick like so

3)have to remove the plastic trims

4)you have to cut the old braket from the mk4 seats with the sawall and bend the tabs away to cut the rest like so

5)this is the outcome

6)remove the braket off the old seat
now you see it

now you don't

7)grind the paint of the supports and tack your mk3 seat bracket in place
Make sure you only tack it in place to test fit the seat. you may have to play with bracket to get the seat to slide properly.

8)once the seats are sitting and sliding properly weld everything up install your plastics back and toss them in and enjoy.I painted everything black before i ddi the final install.

Now because the handle that moves the pin for the slider is gone i attached it to the seat with a couple of screws just like the mk3 seats.
I am sorry my camera diedtowards the end.
and a pic of the car they went into.

Disclamer
I did this to my car i will not be held responsible if you try it to yours and screw something up. I am not your mother so don't come crying to me.

i love this idea but im missing how you adjust them now with the handle gone

the handle is not gone it is there i just welded a small bracket to the side and screwed the handle arm onto it so there is adjustment there but you just can't see it . It is hidden under the plastic trim.

I like contrast in the interior. You should add some more tan parks like the puffy part and the door cards and stuff...

I haven't had much time to play with the heating I have been sorting the car out. I bought it with a few problems (mostly wiring) so i am slowly working my way through them.

I accually just installed those cards the car is a tdi with manual windows and the cards are out of a glx with power. There is a small marking on the back of the glx door card where the hole for the manual windows goes . so just drill it out .Remove the handle assembly from your cards and install them on the glx cards.and you have puffy manual window door cards.
