In what way do you mean old? Like going dim? Bulbs will start to deteriorate after their rated hour life with the element eventually burning out.
They don't need assisted living or retirement home...

Hmm this glass pipe maker should contract out those unique skills to VWV people I'm sure he could get a little business going on the side.....

I have 15... varying in size, with and without carbs, chamelion and non-chamelion, etc... i make a KILLING off them... but shhhh they're for tobacco use only....

I was actually talking about refurbishing headlight lenses/fog lights....I'm sure he's already got enough business from the other line of work....
