I've purchased GTI on 19th of Dec. 2001 and as of now I have 9436 miles on my odometar !!! 50 miles one way to work, 24 miles one way to gf and 30 miles one way to Chicago downtown ... I just need somebody to tell me they drive as much as I do .. pleasee

yeah, i think you can safely say you drive alot. poor car...50 miles to work one way!

Hey, i know the feeling... my girlfriend used to be a good 45 minute drive away...and that's at about 4000 RPM's in 5th...you do the math. Well, now she had to decide to go to college in Alabama. Great. Now I'm pulling two 12 hour drives this weekend, there and back! Don't worry, I'm not an Easterner...I'm from Chicago too...about 25 minutes southwest. Oh yeah, 21000 miles in less than a year. I like to drive too.
