I got air ride for my 03 Jetta 1.8T and I know if you lower your car more than I think 1.5" the driveshaft will hit the sway bar. I've read in another post that the 03's do not need to upgrade the RSB. Is this true?
There's no issues with the rear sway bar rubbing.
If you go to low, as 2003GLI-NJR said, you'll have to worry about the front sway bar.
The rear sway bar only helps reduce understeer, and ultimately improves the balance of the car.
