Do i really need a clutch?

im planning on doing a 3.94 r&p swap along with a lightened flywheel pretty soon. i know alot of places say to do a clutch while youre in there but with only 40k on the car do i really need it? it doesnt slip now and i dont drive all that aggresivly on a daily basis. im just thinkin that droping alot of money on a clutch right now isnt neccesary and i could do it along the road if it starts to slip...and when i have more money in the bank let me know what ya think thanks

You've got plenty of life left in that stock clutch, it's under 1/2 used. But since you've got it all apart now I'd upgrade to a nicer sport clutch-I've heard the Sachs sport clutch kit is nice. Since you're spending all that $$$ on driveline stuff you might as well upgrade everything now, having a clutch replaced is gonna be more $$$ later cuz you'll have to do tranny assembly again.
