They are not just tips. The vw exhaust system is one piece from the tips to the cat. In order to put them on, you'd need the whole system, or someone's muffler that they cut off that has thosr tips on there. Just buy some nice tips online and have them welded on at your local muffler shop. Trust me, you'll save more than you can imagine for a better result

dumb question, but would tips give me a noticeably better sound than stock, or am i better off getting a new system to achieve sound along with gains?

tips wont do jack....you need a fulll exhasut system for sound
