Do you guys roll your wheel wells?

I've noticed throughout some of the pics on the board that some wheel well fenders look 'fatter' than others...have these been modified or is it just an illusion?

no need to, unless you are getting 17x 9's or 10's

you're talking about pulling the fenders. it flares them out more.
custom bodywork, it's not easy.

the wrong offset will also require fender rolling, not just the wheel/tire width.

err...

rolling the fenders often tends to crack and flake paint along the rolled areas... so a expert is definately needed. and unless u know thats exactly what u want, i wouldnt suggest it.

Oh I was just thinking that it was a model that I just wasn't seeing or maybe some aftermarket body fenders...
Thanks guys!

Nothing you can't do with a Louisville Slugger really, that's how they did it back in the day.

There are some expensive purpose-built fender rollers available. From what I have read, someone experienced in doing so can do the job without cracking the paint. But...how many experts are there that you can trust?
I'm going to roll the fenders on my beater this spring with a baseball bat like stated above. The car got hit this winter and I got enough insurance money to get the damage fixed and have the car repainted, so I'm rolling them before its painted. My Nissan evidently can't handle the big meaty 205/40R16's without chewing up the sidewall on my left rear.

so how exactly do you roll them with a baseball bat???

Really, all you have to do is use a hairdryer or something to heat up the paint, thus making it a little more flexible and less proned to cracking or chipping. Then slowly roll the fenders with the bat. Only do a little at a time.
