Ok, I just installed H&R Sport springs w/ Bilstein sport shocks. Must say the ride is great. But I was thinking, when I installed them I never cut the bump stops. Is this needed? I know for some installations it is, but not sure for these. They are H&R sports 1.5 inch drop I beleive. So does anyone know about this? Thanks

Re: Do you need to cut bumpstops? (M this 1!)

Isnt better to keep the bump stop at stock length? I heard it will stiffen up the suspension when it is needed the most.
What are the downside of uncut Bump stop

YEAH it stiffens the suspension, but you won't like what it does. it technically softens bottom out, so if it's left stock length you bottom out prematurely and you get awful jolts where you normally wouldn't.
