Re: Does Anyone have a VAG COM to run a test to check my MAF? (Georg)
I also scan our cars using updated Registered Ross Tech software. However, with that said, not everything can be solved using vag com.
Excessive fuel consumption can be caused by many things. I would be hesitant to blame the maf, unless you have reason too. Start with least expensive parts and move up.
My suggestion would be too check spark plug condition, and air filter, and replace as nescessary. Make sure to gap plug correctly. If you are unsure of how to do this, take it to someone who knows how to gap and torque plugs.
