Does anyone have any experiences with Automotives in KC?

I talked to them and they are going to start doing on-site apr chipping in a month. Has anyone had any other experiences with them. Would be sweet to only drive to KC instead of sending my ecu in. Was thinking about going to the BBQ, but its too far.

What's so good about APR? I have an Autothority chip, put it in myself. You have a chip you have to get soddered in or something? I'm sure somebody around St. Louis could sodder it in for you for cheap

vagvr6 im sure he has a 1.8T and it's a lot dif set up from a VR6. I bought wheels from Joe @ automotives and he was a super nice guy.. Great service and I would recommend him to anyone. When I was there I asked him about an ARP chip cause I too thought it would be a lot better just to drive to KC instead of sending out my ECU.. this was quite a while back and Joe didn't know when they were gonna be able to do it in house. Maybe I will hold off a month myself...

Thanks. I'll post something if I get a reply about a firm date for the chipping.

Saw their truck the other day, but I've never heard of them before.
