I'm looking at these:

Blaupunkt T-Line 6"x9" Speakers

Their higher end line is good. I think they call it OxD or something like that. Their lower end line is probably on par with everyone else's lower end lines. Many of these companies don't actually make their own drivers but contract the manufacturing out to plants in countries with low labor rates. That's why you see different brands of speakers that suspiciously look the same except for a few cosmetic details. Likewise, several different brands' high end models are made by the likes of Morel in Israel ( primo stuff BTW ).
I imagine the Blau 6x9's are OK. They are for the rear anyway, which is much, much less critical.
