Mine is leaking, about to order the following parts. The only guide I could find is about the 2004. FYI VW is quoting me 600 for labor @ 2.5h. I would rather do it myself, to learn. Thanks in advance (y)

SunnyvaleVW is known for having outrageous labor prices.

You're better of at Dubclinic in Santa Clara, Sprint Motorsports in SJ and if you want to DIY go to DIYorDie Tech shop in SJ.

Since you're doing thermostat housings. The best thing you can do is get the metal ones (24V/12V VR6 THERMOSTAT HOUSING) along with the metal crack pipev (www.gruvenparts.com/the-ultimate-crackpipe-all-vr6/). This will be your best bet long term to prevent issues with those parts ever again.

You should come join the NorCal VW Drivers club www.facebook.com/groups/NorCalVWDriversClub/ West Coast Wookiees West Coast Wookiees and VW R32 Owners VW R32 OWNERS

I also have a private group chat on facebook for bay area R32 owners if you're interested.
