I''m going to buy a DOV for my car, Does anybody have an idea which one should i getting? (How's the forge FMDV004)

i have a bailey and it works perfect for me. it is somewhat cheaper than the forge. also i'm running about 265hp and 19lbs of boost and have never had a problem. i would definetly recommend it.

Thx for ur informations. My 20th is got 225 hp with Apr 2nd stage do u think it will works fine with the DOV? i mean i want the "Whoosh" sound to be heavily NOT LIKE HONDAS........

i'm sure it should work just fine for you. they all work pretty much the same as long as you don't get a blow of valve, because they tend to make the 1.8t's run too rich because the air is not getting recirculated. all most every 1.8t i've seen with a BOV throws a cel light. and those tend to sound like hondas...booooooo. hahaha

i'm not quite understand wut u mean, Are you saying that Dv is better than Dov? or 1.8t engine is more adapt to run with DV ??

in your original post i thought you were buying a forge diverter valve (dv). I did not understand that you were trying to buy a blow off valve (bov). BOV's are not very good for our cars as they tend to make them run rich. now you used the acronym "dov" i don't know what that is (maybe divert off valve?) anyway...i would advise against a bov because they don't recirculate the air like a dv.
P.S. -----a dv will make that whooshhh sound and i won't be annoying

if your going to go with a DV get the baily, used to run one....but i must say nothing beats my HKS SSQ BOV that throws NO CEL http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

yeah! as u said i might just get a DV. If BOV doesn't recirculate the air
