Does the new SpeedVision (speed channel) suck?

I dont have cable or satelite tv.. I know Speedvision had switched to The Speed Channel.. I am wondering if my fears are true in the fact that it appears to turn into a nascar channel?? Tell me it isn't so!!

I think it does... I watched my last Rally show and last offshore powerboat show the other night

I don't really notice a difference. In fact a lot of people are happy with the same day Rally coverage. I think its fine, but then again I also like NASCAR in addition to rally, f1, etc.

...what's it matter if you don't even have it?
Because its the only reason id get cable.. if it sucks then I wont get it. If its still good.. then I will.. I dont like wasting my money.

They've improved the WRC coverage, kept all the same great car and bike shows, and filled a few of those Bowflex infomercial slots with NASCAR programming.
Whether that petition changed anything or people were just jumping to conclusions, I don't know, but I watch the channel daily and haven't noticed much difference at all.
Of course to some Vortexers, ANY NASCAR racing is to much and signals the end of the world.

Just too much NASCAR, and now even more. As long as they don't cut out my programs, WRC and GT series, then I'll be alright for now. But this does seriously suck. Whhhhhhyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy???

Way too much Nascrap coverage. Haven't seen Motorvision for a while.

the coverage of sportscar racing this year will be better than last year. trust me on this one. you will see A LOT more sportscar racing on the weekends (my wife's uncle works for the people that do all the camera work for Speedvision).

I was willing to give it a chance for a few days... but the last 2 evenings have been brutal. The prime time hours between 8-11 have been all-nascar.
I don't mind a bit of Nascar. It's not my cup of tea, but 3 freaking hours of it?!

yes, and this week is the biggest week for NASCAR.. the "Speed Weeks" at their home track.
