Does your check engine light come on when the key is in the on position?

Does it ever come on for a second like the other ones do when your key is in the on position? Mine doesn't come on ever, even when it's in the on position.

yes mine does. I turn the key to the on position and it lights up along with the oil light, and most others. then it goes out once started.
Are you sure the light is not broken? Did it ever work? See if anyone near has one, there easy enough to pop and switch

it's supposed to go on and then off like the others. if it stays on, then you've got a problem, if it flashes, then you've got a problem.....if it doesn't come on at all.....you might have a problem, but probably one less severe than if it did come on

mine doesn't, though that's because it's a swap and someone "disconnected" the lead for the CE light.

Ok, thanks., I guess someone disconnected mine before i bought it.

If you take ou tyour gauge cluster you can see if the bulb is there.If it is then try takin a bulb from another spot temporarily and put it in the CE spot then try it.You probably have a bad bulb or just none at all.Either way it sounds like a easy fix.Good luck

yea sounds like some onew removed it or it blown.
