door locks???

my driver's side lock does not work anymore( poor rebuild from an accident)
can i just use the lock from the passenger side? i want to switch those and then put delocked handles on the other 3 doors.
will this work?

have you taken your door apart to see why?...my driver side actaully broke it was the peice that looks like the end of a screw driver that broke off...shopped around and found the dealer had the part and they put the new one on my removed handle with my lock tumblers for free!!!...all together $19.31 http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif
