[VW-Newbie]

I did a search and could not find anything so I apologize if this has been discussed before.
Is there any way to disable the driver seat from moving all the way back when the ignition is switched off and the door is opened? The seat being all the way back makes it much more difficult to get my son in and out of his child seat in the back. Also, I'm not obese nor do I have mobility problems so the seat moving out of the way is a complete waste for me!

Just in front of the steering wheel adjustment, on the left side of the wheel is a button. If it is pushed in the comfort entry system works.
If you push it now it should turn it off.

are you talking about a V6 or V8? I never knew that this option existed on Treg

yea, just push the button on the side of the steering wheel

thats on a V8 with the convinience package, or the premium plus package (which includes the convinience package.

I thought it would be a convenience but....

I thought it would be a convenience but the driver's seat moves so far back that I feel as though I'm sitting in the back seat when I get in. It's a reach to put the key in the ignition.
Does anyone know whether the amount of seat travel can be adjusted? A couple of inches would suit me just fine.
