I had the same problem. Either switch to an aftermarket front bar which has larger hoops (I know Autotechs newer bar (1 yr old now) and H&R's bar does. The other option is to just remove the front bar. I've driven a GolfIV w/o front or rear bars and I thought it handled very neutral. Sway bars are really not necessary if you have high enough spring rates. (but the rates necessary to reduce body roll are usually too high for street driving) I would not get the longer end links.
