Could anybody with VAG COM check their MKVR32 and log into the controller 02-Auto Trans. Please check the coding of the module? Mine is:
VAG Number: 02E 300 011 CC / Component GSG DSG 081 1405.
To make a long story short, the dealer is claiming that the jerkiness on my transmission is caused due to incorrect coding. Because they noticed that I have changed the DRL, TPMS and window operation with VAG COM they claim it was done with an aftermarket computer. I have not tampered with the transmission at all. I will nail this dealer but I am trying to gather more information to make sure the code in the transmission is the original code. I happen to have an MK2 TT with the same engine and transmission and the VAG number is the same and the component is GSG DSG 081 1404.
Just to add to the agravation, I just found some scans I did 2 years ago on the MKVR32 and the coding is the same since, but yet the dealer claim it has been tampered with an "aftermarket computer", what a crack of ....
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

Re: DSG MKV R32 Coding (vwapasionado)

Do you have an aftermarket ECU map? Because if not, why not just come clean and tell them you have a settings reader/writer and changed the TPMS, window and DRL settings, all having absolutely nothing to do with the motor or transmission, and that this couldn't possibly alter the transmission behavior?

Re: DSG MKV R32 Coding (JimInSF)

This car is as stock as they come. The only things done to it are: Installed Bluetooth, DRL turned off, Programmed windows to go up or down with the remote and turned off TPMS.
The stealer (Bill Jacobs in Naperville, IL) implies that by me changing these small items recoded the transmission.
Well, I checked the code of my transmission against my MK2TT with the same powertrain and also checked it against a friend of mine R32 and they are all the same. This is pure BS.
They did apologize for the way this was handleded and offer no further consequence on outstanding recall and extra warranty but it still agravates me to think that they could have done this to my wife or anybody else that does not have any knowledge. It is hideous.
Stay away from Bill Jacobs in Naperville, IL.
And they call themselves mod friendly and distribite APR products.

I am through with this dealer anyways and I am 9K miles to loose my warranty anyways so I will start working on it myself and screw them.
