I pulled out the following codes from my 96 Passat VR6:
3 DTCs Found:
17952 - Throttle Actuation Pot (G187): Signal too Large
35-00 - - (Throttle Actuation Potentiometer Signal too High) 16505 - Throttle Position Sensor A Circuit Range/Performance Problem 16486 - Mass or Volume Air Flow Circuit Low Input
and the following code from the airbag unit:
2 DTCs Found:
00532 - Voltage Supply B+
06-10 - Signal to High - Intermittent (Generator faulty)
Has anyone had the same situation to tell me where to start the troubleshooting from, and if you resolved this codes what was the solution?
Thanks in advance

Re: DTC 16505 17952 16486 Throttle Position Sensor 7:28 PM 1-27-2003 (svet)

I pulled a 16486 out of my car yesterday and was expecting a throttle position sensor code. I just did some research on the MAF code and most people seem to say that it's toast and needs to be replaced.

I've got a question for you though because I believe I have a problem with my throttle position sensor. Do you get any lag when easing onto the throttle? My car won't do anything for the first half second after I gently feed it throttle on the highway and I'd be interested to see if yours does the same.
