BTW i want one of those DP/race sections toot sweet.
my HF cat is ordered. got a plan:
CG SS DP-->HF Cat--->dump tube in race/conversion section--->stock exaust.
Stealthy and ready to rip when required.

Well, the DPs I know of use a slip fit. The stock or race section would just be cut 6 " shorter. In the case of ATP or CG DP the race pipe could be cut. almost all the aftermaket exhausts use a slip fit.

I would highly suggest putting it before the cat if there is room with your setup. The cap would only be removed for track use.
My idea is to do this without throwing codes, getting reasonable power out of the setup with SOME noise reduction for cruise nights. And being able to return to somewhat stock sound levels retaining my stock exaust.

Jim, do you already have these made? If so where can i sign up for one? Ive been wanting one since Tyrollkid first thought it up, but i didnt like the idea of modifying my downpipe.
Do you have an extra you can sell me now? This would be perfect for the upcoming drag season.
