are there any other benefits to an aftermarket DV? like better throttle response, fuel economy, less rpm drop, etc. I'm thinking of ordering one next week (payday

Just higher boost at high rpms....you probably don't need one if yours still works though

If you're chipping it, you're only going to accellerate a known crappy part to failure.
