My DV makes a fluttering sound when turbo comes off boost. It does't honk yet, however I don't want to wait for that. Is the DV replacement covered by the powertrain warranty? Could I buy a TT valve and ask dealer to install it for me? Thanks in advance.

DV covered by powertrain is doubtful. And replacement is dead simple. Unless you just want the records for resale reasons, there isn't any real reason to have the dealer install a DV. Takes five minutes and that's including fumbling for tools and snapping off those hideous one-time use connectors.
