I know that the DV in reversed mode is important for those of us manually throwing five or six forward gears, but I decided to give it a shot (warrenty be damned) with my four speed automatic. I can definitely say this much - woohoo! The transmission shifts so much smoother and the power remains even more consistant. The best thing I noticed is that boost is maintained as you modulate the throttle, making turns much quicker.
Needless to say, besides the PITA of getting those one-time clips off, this was an easy an effective way to make the throttle a lot smoother. I thought it would be good to note this for all of us who are too cool to shift
, since most of the info I've been reading about the 1.8T seems to assume (albeit rather fairly) that you're driving a manual.

Re: DV Running Reversed on a 4spd. (Krashlocke)

I have been running my forge reversed in my 4spd with all my mod's in my sig for about 4 months with no problems . I had a thread awhile ago and reccomended doing it for the 4spd's but i didn't know if anyone listened . I got a blue spring from forge which helps but i get flutter sometimes . I will be finding a adjustible soon to fit my needs ( Greddy maybe )
