actually I was looking at one of the other asswipes who was taking pics ...I hate having my pic taken, as you can see, I ain't so pretty....
the dyno screen and such were on the other side of the car, and behind / back....all the FWD cars had to back onto the dyno...it's a 4wd dyno.

Like I said early in a similar thread...these #'s are about right for an auto box (~20% drivetrain loss). To the poster asking about Mustang Dyno numbers, Mustang dyno's are considered more accurate and reapeatable as far as dyno's go, since they are rolling resistance, not mass/accel units like Dynojet's are.
as for the link to the above dyno, I have to question those numbers, only for the reason being that the dyno shows the car put down MORE WTQ than VW even admits to in the factory specs....I beleive they underate the #'s but not that much.
and finally, I go tonight to pick-up my REPLACEMENT 3.6L Passat Variant....search my user name for the whole story.....
the engine was strong, but not long lived.

LSin was right - lot of power loss through the automatic's torque converter and clutch packs.
Don't forget that power is not always about numbers, it's how it's delivered!
Look at how beautifully smooth and flat that torque curve is - I am jealous!
