dyno testing which cam is best with supercharger?

I'm planning on installing a 2.0 (AEG code) in an 89 jetta gtx. i'v already installed VR6 suspension components and subframe.
should the hood clear the intake manifold?
the 2.0 comes from an automatic so it has the automatic transmission module and engine control module, i'll only be using the ECM.
I've been studying the wiring diagrams for days, and am getting ready for the swap, just wanted to
check if anyone has already done this.

Hey, I have done two Nuespeed chargers and am starting to tune them for both cars. My NB has the 256 Neuspeed cam(which is how much it cost too!). Not very impressive for the cost. The 95 motor is running the TT 260 cam and it pulls harder for almost half the price! Skip the Neuspeed cam if you can.
Also a footnote(that got me ripped a while back)
We installed the adjustable gear on both, against Neuspeeds advice!!!
How did it work? advancing the cam on a charger has reverce results, lost a good 30-40% at three degrees. Next test was to retard the cam 3deg., WOW! the lower end pull was much greater than 0% and we lost about the last 1000 rpms making any power, It started feeling like a turbo, shift by 5500, zooom.
It was well worth the gains on the bottom and we did not throw any codes. With the new quaife and 3.94 gears this is one fast Passat !
My vote is the TT 260 cam, good pull/low cost.

POSTAL, I was wondering about the 260 cam, thank you!

POSTAL,
That 260 cam was installed in a Mk3 engine right? If it's in a Mk4 engine, did it trigger any CELs?
What I heard from NS though is that if you have a Mk4, do install the 256 cam because a 260 cam will trigger a rough idle fault code...

damn mk4's. grrrr.

We havethe 98 mk4 with the 256 cam, the 95 obd1 is the TT 266 (I put up 260 before, which they don't have) Zero fault codes on the 95, we fought a high idle for a bit but cleaning the idle stabilizer and back cam timing has cured it.
I'm not even bothering changing the timing on the 98 till at the dyno monday.
but the 95 is kicking my butt and if the cam is part of it we will see it at the rollers.

I'm pretty sure Neuspeed is in the process of developing a supercharger specific cam right now.
Re: dyno testing which cam is best with supercharger? (woodrell)

why not use the TT 260/268 g60 supercharger cam?
