DynoPlot: GIAC V.10 and Evo CAI - Eurosport Dyno Day

Alright everyone, here's my dyno plot from Eurosport Dyno day, finally. This dyno was done on my 2001 Wolfsburg Edition Jetta 1.8T AWW on Jan. 20, 2002 at Eurosport Acc in Anaheim, CA. The car had approx. 15,000 miles on it.
Performance wise there was an Evolution Motorsport Cold Air Intake and GIAC v.10 Chip, and Forge DV. Everything else is completely STOCK.
This dyno was done on California's best 91 Octane PUMP GAS. I was also running Castrol Synthetic oil 5w30 (from the dealership, put in at the 10,000 mile checkup). I don't know what the temperature and whatnot was, as I was not there in person. Hope this helps everyone!

P.S. What do you guys think??

Those are good numbers with version 6 and stock paper filter I put down 175 and 192lb ft, but v.10 feels way more powerfull to me, hopefully next month I'll get it dyno'd again

what is that dip at 5200 ?!?!
Re: DynoPlot: GIAC V.10 and Evo CAI - Eurosport Dyno Day (John A)

yeah? that dip is kind of wierd. I mean, the whole plot is kind of dippy, but both hp and torque dip at the same spot at 5200...kinda wierd fer sure!

You have not changed your oil in 5000 miles?

Synthetics don't require one to be so strigent on oil changes. Even with natural oil "Every 3k Miles" is a ploy by Pep Boys to keep you comin'. I know Amsoil says thier oil can last a year provided you change the filter 6 months into it. I went about 10 months on some Amsoil 10w 40. No worries.

Let me clarify. What I meant to say was that I switched from standard oil to Synthetic oil at 10,000 miles. The car just had its 15,000 mile oil change so there was a fresh batch of synthetic oil in there. I had one oil change at 5,000 miles with standard oil. Basically my changes went like this:
0 miles - Bought the car with standard oil
5,000 miles -First oil change with standard oil
10,000 miles - decide to switch to synthetic
15,000 miles - oil change with synthetic
~15,200 miles - Dynoday
Hope this clarifies things.

That's cool. I guess I'm just a die hard that changes my oil every 3k even with Mobil 1 Synthetic.

that dip could be the ecu pulling back timing/boost due to either heat soak and/or crappy 91 gas
