This was taken the other weekend at the BCIT parking lot..about 1 minute before the security jeep tried to chase me out.
I finally got it developed tonight

..just thought i would share
edit: btw im in an e-brake slide going 60kmh in 2nd gear, my friend took the pic so I dont know what shutter speed he used.

Nice http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif I know the feeling. Here's how I got the sensation out in SoCal:
1. Just happened to have a crap toyota corolla rental car.
2. Find a nice big empty parking lot.
3. Roll just the back tires up on top of scrap pieces of 3/4 plywood, mdf, or press board.
4. Set E-brake.
5. Press accelerator to floor unitl about 20mph.
6. Crank the wheel as hard as you can.
7. Make some pretty figure 8 marks.
8. When the wood starts to wear through you'll hear the tires start to hit the asphalt and screetch.
9. Release E-brake and drive away.

Its fun until the cops show.
10. Come back later and do some more.
11. Return 8,000 mile rental car with 80,000 miles of wear and tear.

haha, nice man, me and my old man went out that weekend too, i did some nice ebrakes for him in the burger king parking lot!!
he didn't like it

I found videos a long time ago of some kids doing that in a civic, but instead of mdf or particle board they used stolen fast food trays, the hard fiberglass kind not the soft plastic mcdonalds crap that would melt through right away. looked like fun. I wish I saved those videos, I was trying to explain how it works to my roomate just the other day, he's a bit slow..

anybody have the old issue of blunt in which they tested snowboards in this manner? it was a good one, but they also used a lowly civic.

Thats the Burnaby Campus, I gradded from there in Jan 2001.. I lived on Res in Nisgaa for a while too.. just across the creek from where that pic was taken.
That parking lot seems to be the best.. there is a nice downward ramp to build up speed as you drive in

When I lived there I didnt have my car in Van.. I used to look out my window and see people doing dohnuts late at night.. I vowed that one day I would take my car there

how bout taking off the airbox on a rental subaru, then going rallying, and bringing it back to the rental agency with some nice scratches and mud as hell.

They werent too happy about that.
