Were these any good as sporty coupes? According to the ad, it has a 1.8L engine with a whopping 72 hp.

My fav gen of prelude, grew up riding in the back seat of one of these. The tach/speedo combo was really a trick thing for me back then.
This one looks to be in good shape, havent seen one in years.

My '84 Accord had a 12-valve, carb'd 1.8-liter with 86 horsepower. It did 0-60 in 10 seconds flat and got 30 MPG. Such a great car — I miss the old Honda.

This is so cool. Great dash layout. They should bring this layout back.
edit: talking about the tach within the speedometer, not the block of warning symbols in the center.

I can't even remember the last time I saw one of those on the internet. I think the last time I saw one in person was at carlisle in 2000 or 2001.

These features are so Retro-cool! The Japanese really had to think outside the box to attract US buyers.
