Hey everyone, apologize if this is posted somewhere else...
Looking at putting a set of those infamous e-bay headlights in my 98' a4 2.8L,
just wondering if anyone has put these in their car- and who they got them from/pics would be awesome.
Thanks
Alex

the one piece ones are kind of poorly made, unless you're getting like OE ones (which they have about three of on eBay.) If you want a nice two piece projector which is a direct bolt on upgrade for the 98 buy from a seller called like "marktautotrends." They are Depo lights which are good quality and also have a decent warranty. I can post links on here if that would help you out.

Re: (AudiS4PSI)

On the subject of Depo vs. holding out and finding Valeo lights...
I just had first hand experience with a body shop replacing Valeo headlights with Depo headlights on an 03 Passat following an accident. Next to eachother the fit, finish, and quality of Depo is just far beneath the Valeos. From the factory the Depos had imperfections all over the housings, the housings themselves were not perfectly true to the original valeos, and after the job was done the insurance adjuster took one look at the car and had them pulled and replaced with OE Veleo units. I wouldn't expect that they magically improved quality between the pieces they make for Passats and the pieces they make for a4s.
FWIW.

Re: (kenncmiller)

rob is totally right...the only thing is that the depo lights are 120 where as the valeo ones are at least 400 a set new (even more for HID housed ones)
By all means if you can afford the valeo ones, do it. They will be a lot better quality. the top end eBay contenders are as follows though
Depo two piece projectors; in black.
In chrome.

Depo one piece projectors http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...wItem

The company that sells the one piece set up has a website which is http://www.importvision.com

If you want to be absolutly safe and go the OE Valeo route you could do so at http://www.thepartsbin.com/cat...light
Like I said; those are going for 240-390 PER SIDE
I don't know if there is any place that people know of to get a good set up for cheap, but I have been looking for a while and this is the best stuff I could find.
Hope this helps someone.
