David Hasselhoff really needs to race in NASCAR.

ALMS driver Klaus Graf has attempted to qualify for NASCAR Nextel Cup road races for the past couple of years, believe it or not. I think in '04 he ran the #49 Beth Ann Morgenthau Dodge to 17th at Sears Point.
Also, I found an article on RTL Netherlands that F1 phailure Cristijan Albers may have turned down an offer to drive a year-old DTM Mercedes in order to seek a NASCAR drive

That is hilarious. It reminds me of the episode of top gear when they go down south with some nascar hating on the sides of their cars and just about get killed.
