i know the e codes light up the road a lot better than the NA... but does anyone know how they work? are they the same as NA with just a different lighting pattern or what? im not really a lighting expert but i was curious what it is that makes them so much better?

They use a different bulb, but the wattage is about the same, I think.
anyways, yes, the key difference is the lense pattern. More light goes onto the road and the passenger side of the road (at signs), and the cut-off is sharp, so light isn't wasted elsewhere.

when i switched to ecodes...it was a night and day diffrence...wow...just the lighting pattern is way better and everything....plus they look cooler http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

I deffinately recomend getting StonGard light protectors. After getting all kinds of chips in my Hella FFs, I put StonGard on my Vento E-codes. Very cheap insurance for very spendy lights. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

Momentum Motorsport. Hella doesn't sell the "smoked" Vento lights under their name, they sell them under the brand name "in.Pro", which Momentum is the distributor for.

should I get e-codes or MKIV look? Keep in mind it would be on a Jet and I'd keet my hood and grill, just put that little thing..... or might just get a badgeless.... (pushing real hard for the badgeless...)

It's a small light designed to illuminate the headlight housing when the main headlights are off. It doesn't cast much light outside that. They are used in the way we use parking lights in the US.

if yours got smashed just call the company, when I got my MkIV lookalikes one was shattered and after a call to the company, they sent me another light within 4-5 days---I got it on Easter Sunday by the US postal service. And i didnt have to send the original light back, so now i have some spare bulbs.
