ECS Stage 1 Clutch Fitment Issues (sorry for the repost)

So the tech said something was about a 1/4" too short and that could quite possibly put the pedal to the floor? I'm a little confused as to what he was talking about and how this can be fixed. Or something I'm just going to have to live with.
