hello .. I have problems with the Passat 2.0 TDI 3c. 2006th I got a report that my EGR valve does not work, so I bought new and replaced. Problems are not finished, because the car every 5 minutes, switch to the factory program and had no power. per minute is automatically moved back to the normal mode is going ok. this is repeated. I wrote below VCDs report! Firstly, when the valve is plugged in and the second is when the valve is unplugged.
EGR valve is an electrical and turned off the car operates normally, except that the flashing light on the numerator

You may want to post in the TDI section.. no one has this engine in North America. Sorry

my gut feeling....

so how did the intake manifold look?

my old ALH motor TDI was notorious for getting clogged with soot & oil. However, ULSD, the 15 ppm ones europe gets... shouldn't be a issue... but it might be worth checking.
