ok i have a 2001 jetta with the stock 17 inch long beach wheels and sport suspension. i want to know if the eibach 1.2 inch prokit springs with dampers will do anything to the height? i mean how low will it really take the car? also should i do the sportline eibach springs and go for the 1.8 inch drop and if so does anyone know of how this ride quality will be? is it harsher and what kind of wheel to fend gap would i be looking at? thanks guys for the help.

I recently had the Eibach pro-system installed (pro-kit springs and dampeners) I belive the drop was a little more than 1.2". I also wouldn't want the ride any harsher by going with the sportline. The ride with the pro-kit springs is firmer than stock and the handeling is much better than stock. shox.com $529 http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

Re: eibach height question please help (blueabdjetta)

I haven't seen a Mk4 Jetta on Sportlines, but I can tell you the Pro-Kit springs definitely drop more than 1.2". You've seen my car, you know how it is.....just space out the rear wheels a bit to get them even with the fronts and you're set.
Eibach pro-kit springs + stock shocks=great ride(butchoo better save up some $ to replace the shocks in a few months)

The dealer sells the pro kit or the sport line? Just curious

Neither, the "Sport Suspension Kit" from the VW Accessories Travel and Comfort section is different than the
aftermarket Pro Kit and Sportline kits. The VW version has a softer spring rate and won't lower the car as
much as the Pro Kit (Sportline is the lowest of the three setups).
