Recently my electric locks have been acting up. When I lock the doors using the button inside the car, the front and rear doors on the drivers side only lock on about 1 out of 6 times. When using the remote, the same thing happens, though sometimes all the doors lock except for the driver side rear. Does anyone have any ideas? My guess is that it has to do with wiring, but I am hoping it is something simpler, you know, less expensive to get fixed!

i think that your situation may be similar to one that I had in the past with the front passenger door. long story short, it was the actuator, which was replaced under warranty... sorry that I don't have $ figure

What does the actuator do, and what did they have to do to get to it? (Is it inside the door?)

The actuator (I hope that I'm saying this correctly) is in the door... I guess it's the component that actually make the door lock/unlock. I'm not sure, but I believe that they had to take apart the door panel to do this.
