Whats up people...i have a 95 2.0 in my car along with the wiring but running my A2 tranny...its got the big reverse switch, not the 2 pole one. Its got the multpile pins on it. My A3 plug, for the reverse switch, is just 2 wires....anyone know how to wire this up to my A2 switch to make my reverse lights work?

its the first 2 pins when looking in from in front of the car. there offset a bit. be carefull they dont touch eachother or your reverse lights will be on constantly

That's hillarious, I'm doing the exact opposite!! I've got an A3 CHE code tranny in my 87 GLI and was trying to wire the 2 prong socket to the big assed plug. If you have your old plug the hot wire is Blk w/ Grey stripe, the rest are dead or grounds? The lights are grounded somewhere else also, that one wire lights them up?
What color are your wires on the 2-prong plug? I have an A3 turnsignal plug that will fit on mine, colors are grey w/blk stripe and orange??
