From Club B5, one of the members found the emblem for the German city of Emden where many of our Passats are built. The city crest was flanked by a big crown-air-freshener thingie, but if you strip that off, and just use the crest with words written in, I think this would be a real kick-ass badge for our cars:

Anyone want to make it!? Anyone want one?!

Thats cool, where would you put it? The colors are right on. Would look nice.

Well if you wanted an exterior display, it would look nice on the black section of the door frame just above the door handle between the windows, if it were small. Or it could be more in the form of a sticker and put on that little triangular window on the rear door.
Or you could make it more covert, and put it on the engine cover.

I like it! I like the engine cover idea! Maybe it could be made on a round sticker that would replace the VW logo!

How about somebody with photo shop make it into a round sticker the size of the steering wheel logo and in black in white (without the words of course). Id like to see that.

There's always something like this...round with maybe the German Flag colors as backround (this is a really cheap quick photochop, so sorry):

But you get the point. I actually think it would be cool as an engine badge, and worth consideration for another point on the car too.
