you really shouldn't have to disconnect much of anything. wrap them up good with tape and news papers. pull the grommets through the FW and tape everything together (in bunches). This should do the trick and that's how I have seen it done in the past and that's how I will be doing it. Just mask off what you need and pop out the grommets and you'll be ready to shoot. Don't start un hooking wires because you will never get them back through and will spend more time than it's worth flipping through your Bentley trying to figure out where that blue and orange wire goes...
